What's in this release
- You can now refresh the browser list directly while setting up rules and fallback browser preferences.
- Browser availability is refreshed automatically when the app starts, so newly installed browsers appear faster.
- Browser selection reliability has been improved so browser lists stay in sync more consistently across setup and settings.
Installation Guide
Download & Open
Download the DMG file and double-click to open it.
Drag to Applications
Drag Default Tamer to your Applications folder.
Launch the App
Open Default Tamer from Applications or Spotlight (⌘ Space).
Set as Default Browser
Click "Open System Settings" in the first-run window. In System Settings → Desktop & Dock → Default web browser, select Default Tamer.
Configure & Enjoy
Choose your fallback browser, and you're done! Slack and Cursor links will automatically open in Chrome.

Verifying the Download
